The "Ikebana International Magazine" is richly illustrated with color plates of Ikebana Master's arrangements and articles on ikebana and its related Arts. This beautiful magazine is received three times per year. "Hana kagami" is a special presentation showing an illustrated step by step instruction of how-to-do the master's arrangements. Chapter activities are known through the Chapter Newsletter in which the various Chapters inform others of their activities. Regional and World conferences are held for educational and cultural purposes in Asia, Australia, new Zealand, Europe and the Americas. Every five years Japan hosts the World Ikebana Convention. Monthly meetings provide members with a regular forum in which to study Ikebana, hold exhibition, see some of the world's greatest flower masters at work, and enjoy the meeting of people from many countries all enjoying "friendship through flowers" ********************* |
